Because of the effects of global warming in 10 years blue sharks are found in coastal waters of Crimea. This was stated by a well-known oceanographer, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Kerch State Marine Technological University Evgeny Gubanov."Water in the Black and Marmara seas are gradually warming, and blue sharks in the pursuit of food can swim in them from the Mediterranean Sea. If the warming continues at the same pace as now, after 10 years of blue sharks are found in coastal waters of Crimea", - he said.
"The emergence of large quantities of dangerous sharks is most likely associated with the beginning of the breeding season and the birth of offspring. The Red Sea is the largest nursery of sharks in the world, contains about 250 species of predators" - added Gubanov.
In this case, an oceanographer does not believe in the fact that in Egypt tourist was attacked dlinnokrylaya shark, according to one of the local divers. "Such cases were reported over the last hundred years, only a few, and most of all, people were attacked this aggressor - mako shark or bull shark," - said Gubanov.
Recall that in early December 2010 in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh have been several attacks of predators on bathing tourists. At Cape Nasrani in Naama Bay, they inflicted serious injuries to three tourists from Russia and one from Ukraine. For the 70-year-old tourist from Germany was the last voyage.
