Trinity Church, Kamianets-Podilskyi town

Trinity Church of Kamianets-Podilskyi is one of the oldest churches in the city. Date of construction not known. First mentioned in documents in 1582. In terms is  three-frame, the western part separated from the middle arch and a plan is a square, on which stands the bell tower.

During the Turkish rule the church was used as a mosque. After the expulsion of Turks from the city of all Orthodox churches are Uniate. The main, cathedral is Holy Trinity Church. In 1722 on base of Trinity Church was founded the Basilian monastery. In 1749 the belfry was built. Since 1793 the temple moved to the Orthodox.

In the 1930's. temple was destroyed in the anti-religious program. In recent years, the church restored by the monks of the Greek Catholic Order of St. Basil the Great on the cleared the bases. Dmytro Chernenko
