The Livadia Palace - is one of the most visited in the world of palaces. It was built by architect N. Krasnov, in the style of the Italian Renaissance. The palace was the summer residence of Russian Emperor Nicholas II.

On the first floor of the five ceremonial rooms on the second there were private rooms of the royal family. In the Livadia Palace complex, in addition to the Grand Palace, the suite includes housing, a palace courtyard Minister Baron Fredericks, constructed simultaneously with the palace, the palace church in honor of the Exaltation of the Cross, Honest, built in 1872, and an Italian court. Incidentally, the gate of the internal Italian courtyard, as evidenced by N. In 1925, the former royal palace has been opened a sanatorium for peasants, later, in 1931, transformed into a climatic treatment plant.

4-11 February 1945 at the Big (White) Hall, held the Crimean (Yalta) Conference of Heads of Governments of the three anti-Hitler coalition - the USSR, the USA and UK, which adopted the "Declaration on Liberated Europe", the establishment of the UN and other documents which were important for the fate of world importance. During the conference at the palace was the residence of U.S. President Roosevelt.

In 1974 at the Grand Palace was opened showroom.

Around the palace is an ancient park, founded in 1835, is the largest park in the Crimea, its area is 160 ha. It has a good body-spatial solution - there are many large terraces, spacious, with a wide view, viewing platforms.
