In Kyiv an exhibition of flowers, dedicated to 20th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine
In Kiev, at the Song Festival Grounds in Pechersk landscape park was opened the 56th flower show, which is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, said the KSCA.Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), Alexander Popov, congratulated the opening of Kiev to the fact that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by an order determined the winner of the All-Ukrainian competition Kiev City a better improvement.
"I am absolutely convinced that Kiev has to be a better city beautification, not only in Ukraine but throughout Europe, as we have every reason to it," - said Alexander Popov.
He thanked everyone who participated in organizing the exhibition and said that before the 20th anniversary of independence of Ukraine in Kiev restored accomplishment of many green areas.
"It's nice to note that the efforts of the capital improvement services restored on the Boulevard Lesia Ukrainka Bazhana Ave, on the waterfront Rusanovskoye. In general, the Day of Independence ordered about 25 parks and gardens. And we shall not stop, because we have excellent professionals and will revive the glory of Kiev as the green capital of Europe "- said Alexander Popov.
The tradition of urban flower show has started in 1953. Since then, the exhibitions are held in the most picturesque places in Kiev.
Flower Show runs until September 4.
